I'm no expert on the matter, but it seems like everywhere you look these days, someone is selling a lip-plumping product. From glosses and balms to serums and patches, there's no shortage of ways to achieve fuller lips. But do any of them actually work? I decided to put a few popular plumpers to the test to find out. Here's what happened.
Lip Plumper #1: Lip Venom by DuWop
I was really excited to try this product because I'd heard so many good things about it. And I have to say, I wasn't disappointed! Within minutes of applying the gloss, my lips looked noticeably fuller. The only downside is that the sensation is a bit strange—it feels like there's a light tingling or burning sensation (kind of like when your foot falls asleep and then starts to wake up again). Overall, though, I was impressed with the results. Plus, it's super affordable!
Lip Plumper #2: Dior Addict Lip Maximizer
This plumper comes in the form of a serum that you apply before your lipstick or gloss. It contains hyaluronic acid, which helps to hydrate and plump the lips. I didn't notice an immediate difference after applying it, but my lips did feel softer and more hydrated. After using it for a week or so, I also noticed that my lipstick went on smoother and lasted longer throughout the day. So while it may not be an "instant" plumper, it does have long-lasting benefits. Plus, it smells amazing—like roses!
Lip Plumper #3: CandyLipz
This is definitely the most intense lip-plumping product I've ever tried. It uses suction to create a vacuum around your lips, which leads to increased blood flow and—you guessed it—fuller lips. The results are pretty dramatic and immediate. But it's not exactly comfortable—it feels like you're getting mild bruises around your mouth! And at $60 per set, it's also the most expensive option. Overall, though, if you're looking for dramatic results, this is the plumper for you.

So do lip plumpers work? Based on my experience with three popular products, I would say yes! Each one produced noticeable results within minutes (though some were more intense than others).
